Our very first assembly for Lent.

It was our turn to host the assembly for school.

We worked so hard, learning our songs and our lines!

Ms. Byrne was bursting with pride and was so very proud of us!

Flip a pancake, fry a pancake, catch it in the pan!

Pancakes, pancakes everywhere yesterday for Pancake Tuesday!
We learned that flour, eggs and milk go into the batter to make the pancakes. We had jam and chocolate spread on ours. They were soooo yummy!
We also learned that they are cooked in a pan and that you can flip them over, but be careful they don't land on the floor or on the ceiling!
We hope you had a 'pan-tastic'pancake Tuesday!

Getting ready for our Lent Assembly

We have been working so hard practising our lines and singing our songs for our very first assembly we are hosting for Lent.

We have chosen to do 40 acts of love and kindness over the period of Lent to remember how much Jesus loved us.

We love our song "All you need is love" that we are singing at the end of our assembly.

100 days in school!

Last Friday we celebrated our 100th day in school!

We have been so busy in the past 100 days learning songs and sounds, playing and making new friends!

We certainly are 100 days smarter since starting Junior Infants in St. Michael’s!

Jigsaws and team work

Today we had great fun making jigsaws and helping each other.

We used lots of kind, caring, sharing words and complimented each other on finishing our jigsaws!

Hello and welcome to Ms.Byrne's Junior Infant class.

There are 17 boys and girls, Angela and Ms. Byrne who work, learn and play in room 10 this year!

We are very busy bees learning our phonics, words, numbers, shapes, songs, stories and prayers!

We love our Áistear corner, PE, visiting the play ground and going on nature walks!
